Первая часть - это литература, посвященная непосредственно поведенческим финансам или смежным дисциплинам. Эта часть списка построена по принципу включения в него наиболее ярких и интересных работ, а также всех книг, ставших классикой жанра.

Вторая часть - это литература, посвященная проблематике теории эффективных фондовых рынков. Эта часть является практически исчерпывающим (на момент подготовки книги) списком и включает все основные работы, посвященные теории эффективных фондовых рынков и проблемам, связанным с нею.
